Library Program Proposals
Louisburg Library programming is an essential service that offers learning and entertainment opportunities to fulfill the community’s informational, educational, and recreational needs. These programs enhance the Library’s role as a cultural and community hub, engage with local interests, and connect attendees with Library resources and materials. We welcome proposals from community members and experienced instructors interested in leading programs at the Library.
-
Prospective Presenters must complete the online application with the knowledge that programs could be fitted as soon as the library schedule allows.
-
Program Proposals are considered with respect to the Library’s mission, staff resources, the community, and other factors. The prospective presenter may be asked to meet with Library staff as part of the evaluation process.
-
Program Proposals WILL NOT be considered if they actively promote a business/service or claim that Louisburg Library endorses them or their product/service.
-
Approved Program Proposals shall be added as soon as the Library schedule allows.
-
Approved Program Proposals will be added to the Library’s online calendar of events. When registration for an event is required, it must be completed through the Library’s online calendar of events. Program participants may voluntarily give presenters their contact information during or after the event.
-
Approved Program Proposals may offer brochures, flyers and business cards on an information table. Authors and performers may sell their items after the presentation or performance.
