Winter Read

Winter Read 2025  |  January 1 - February 28  |  All Ages

Take a bite out of the cold by participating in our annual Winter Read Program.  Winter is the perfect opportunity for you to celebrate the enjoyment and gratification of leisure reading and earn a prize.

Little Kids (babies - 1st grade): read or listen to 20 books
Big Kids (2nd - 5th grade): read or listen to 2 chapter books
Young Adults (6th - 12th grade): read or listen to 2 books
Adults (ages 17+): read or listen to 3 books

SummerBASH

SummerBASH 2025  | May 23 - July 18  |  All Ages

SummerBASH is where summer reading and events for all ages meet. Louisburg Library has been hosting summer reading programs for decades. These days, the library celebrates SummerBASH over 8 weeks for kids, teens and adults.  Participate by joining the challenge on Beanstack and logging your reading.

BEANSTACK REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS
Brand New to Beanstack:

Create a Beanstack account online at LOUISBURGLIBRARY.BEANSTACK.ORG

 

Individual Account: Click “register an individual or family” then “I’m registering myself” Submit your information and get started logging!

 

Family Account: Click “register an individual or family” then “I’m an adult registering a child” Fill in adult account creator information, then continue to add reader(s) information as needed. Once an adult is logged in, they have access to all members.

 

*Only one email address per account can be used, this includes family or individual accounts.
